Hi, I'm CJ

and I want to thank you for giving me some of your time. I know how valuable time is, so I will do my best to not waste yours.

Chances are, if you’re reading this, you’ve come to see how I can help you get whatever it is that you’ve been looking for. So allow me to speak to that right off the bat.

If you’re looking for a quick fix, or an easy way to the top, or someone to give you a magic pill that takes all your worries away, then I can’t help you. If that is you, feel free to stop reading right now, as I am committed to not wasting your time.

On the other hand, if you are someone who knows the benefits of elbow grease, of hunkering down and doing the work, I may have something for you. If you are willing to be honest with yourself and others, and are courageous enough to take risks and invest in yourself, I think we’ll get along just fine.

See, I grew up having an easy time of it. I always had a soft bed, warm meal, and clean water. Even though my parents were divorced right after I was born (I have no memory of them ever being together), they raised me and my older sister in a way that was mostly supportive, giving us great opportunities and allowing us to make our own choices…which also meant falling down and scraping my knees. Literally and figuratively speaking.

This also meant allowing us to get in way over our heads.

I ended up going to flight school in New Mexico after spending one semester at the University of Utah, following high school graduation. I almost graduated from New Mexico, but decided it would be a really brilliant idea to pave my own path into the aviation industry. So after racking up a good $90k in student loan debt, I bailed and ended up fueling aircraft at Salt Lake Int. Airport.

If you haven’t noticed yet…there’s a theme here. I used to be one of those easy-way-to-the-top kinda guys. Because I never really had to work for anything throughout my childhood, this had actually created a chip on my shoulder. I was constantly looking for that quick fix. Why spend life working??

So when I was tired of working as a Line Technician fueling airplanes, surrounded by concrete and jet fuel, I googled “outdoor adventure jobs” and a number of wilderness therapy programs came up. That was the best job I’ll never do again. Taking at-risk youth and young adults into the wilderness and helping them get their life back on track was incredibly formative and transforming for me. It helped me get my life back on track. It was there that I became present to my inner landscape, while getting a taste of what it looks like to really work for something.

Upon being made aware of my inner landscape, I began to see where I was stopping myself from succeeding. I became present to how I would sabotage myself from getting the things I wanted. And at this point, it was such a habit for me, I didn’t even have to think about doing it! It was my default way of being.

Throughout my 20’s (I’m 31 now), I constantly struggled with depression and negative self talk. Always thinking I wasn’t enough and I’d never have what I wanted. I struggled deeply with who I was and what I was going to do with my life. I also believed that I was broken beyond repair. At 26, I still didn’t even have my associates degree and everyone around me was either happily employed because they had a BA in so-and-so, or working on their masters degree in a field they absolutely adored!

I was filled with hopelessness and regret, cursing myself for not being better. For not having more dedication and focus. For being a good-for-nothing-lazy-son-of-a-gun.

Fast forward to now.

Over the past 4 years, I have managed to completely turn my game around. I paid off my student loans, got completely out of debt, and am now crushing this game we call Life. I finally learned the lesson of what it meant to work hard.

So what was the shift?

It started with one of my flight instructors no longer being able to keep his medical license due to a health condition, so he opened a business and wanted me to be his 1st in command, after him. I had no idea what I was about to get myself into.

The next few years passed with many long hours spent working in a heavily regulated and booming business. I had ended up as the Administrative Director for a cannabis dispensary, where I learned what it meant to work 60 to 70 hours per week, being locked inside a basement office with a window smaller than my bathroom mirror.

This opportunity provided me with some breakthroughs that I may never have gotten otherwise, and for that, I am very grateful. But nonetheless, something was missing, I was unhappy, unfulfilled, and increasingly stressed out.

While I still had my outlook of “why spend life working?” I had a new appreciation for digging in and doing the work, both outward and inward. I knew that what I was currently doing wasn’t the fix, wasn’t my passion, and didn’t have fulfillment for me. While I was making good money and worked my way up to a fairly flexible schedule, I was still working my tail off for someone else’s dreams, that would ultimately not bring me what I was looking for.

Heck, I didn’t even know what I was looking for! And some would say that there is no favorable wind for a sailor without a course…

Enter: Kelsey. My amazing partner since 2010. She has been a source of such satisfaction and clarity, learning and inspiration, heartbreak and growth, grace and compassion. She has seen me through the most difficult times in my life, and in some cases, has been at the root of some of the most difficult times of my life.

The connection we share today with each other speaks to the depth in which we care for one another. We have been dragged and sky rocketed by each other throughout the relationship, each time coming back stronger and more willing than before.

So while I was working my tail off at the dispensary, she was getting her second degree in nursing. Making up for my lack of a degree, see? In the midst of this lack of direction and disinterest in my current job situation, I started wondering what else there was for me to do.

Through this process, I discovered a new type of business model; one that provided geographical freedom (meaning I could travel and work from anywhere) as well as time and financial freedom, with uncapped earning potential. Sounds almost too good to be true, huh? That’s what I thought too. I knew about this business model for over a year and a half before actually doing anything about it.

There were these guys interrupting my youtube videos telling me how they had achieved financial independence and how they spend their time traveling…and I was like, yeah, awesome, good for you. Not for me though. I didn’t have the skills, or the time, or the know how. And plus it’s probably one of those things that you have to tell everyone in your life about for 16 years before making any money.

Then one day, as I was searching for some solfeggio tones on youtube for meditating, another one of these guys popped up and finally piqued my curiosity, so I jumped. And I am so glad I did! After watching a free seven day video series, I was finally convinced it was worth the $30 application fee to check out what they were talking about.

Since then, my life has taken leaps and bounds in terms of growth and fulfillment. I have been able to blend my new found work ethic with my general outlook of why spend life working. I have become, and am continuing to become, the best version of myself, and I am being rewarded with fulfillment, money, and time.

I now have clarity to where I want to go, and the winds are very favorable! Kelsey and I are looking at starting our own family, and both her and I are committed to being present for our children. To us, time is the most precious commodity, and you will never get more, so we want to spend that time with our kids, watching them go from diapers to pull-ups to riding bikes to dressing up to going to school to swimming to camping and everything in between. And we want to have the ability to be present…like, really present. Not between meetings and busy days, not having to work around a 9 – 5 40 hour work week, but fully and always. For Kelsey and I, having kids is both the greatest responsibility and adventure a human could ever embark upon, and we’re very excited to get going!

We have dreams of waking up easily with our kids, without an alarm clock and nowhere we must get to. We see ourselves sailing the sea’s with our kids at some point, while having the ability to see our families any time we want. And this is possible by having geographical freedom…aka working from a laptop with an internet connection, and that’s it!

Without going into too much detail, it has been a wild ride since joining Six Figure Mentors. I have been confronted time and time again with my personal failures and shortcomings, but I have also been surrounded by a community of powerful people who understand and who have my back.

Success is all but guaranteed if you are willing to do the work. Get surrounded by incredible mentors who truly have your best interests at heart; find your “Why,” your reason to succeed, and you too will be on your way.

My “Why” is my future kids; my future family. My driving force in life…the reason I chose to quit my job and start an online business…is so I can be free to play with my kids and my wife throughout my life.

What’s yours?

If you have made it this far, I acknowledge your perseverance, and genuinely thank you for your time and attention. There’s something incredibly humbling and wonderful in telling your story.

If you heard anything in here that resonated with you, I invite you to reach out to me; leave me a comment, shoot me an email, or even give me a call.

You can also learn more about this business model and how I got my start by clicking here. I would love to send you the very same video’s that began me on my journey, so you can learn to live a life of play as well!

One more thing. This is my daily mantra; my daily inspiration; the filter in which I see life through, and how I choose to be in this world. For me, finding this has been an imperative part of the process to living a life I love, made possible in part by working with Digital Experts Academy, an SFM business partner:

I live my Life in Gratitude,
coming from a State of Flow,
while being Playfully Powerful

& my purpose is to give others the courage to breakthrough and experience fulfilling transformation so that they may thrive as their greatest self within peace and harmony.

Thank you, and may levity be with you always.
